Secondary marking operations of parts are costly. Obviously, the most economical and efficient way to identify your products is to do it prior to or, during the manufacturing cycle automatically, making it a primary operation. This avoids extra tooling and setup time as well as production time. All New Method automatic roll marking attachments, whether designed for use in OD or END-FACE marking, eliminate secondary marking operations, for they are engineered to work as an integral part of the machine and operate like other Screw Machine or Turning Center tools – advancing, marking the part and clearing it during the machine cycle.
