MenuExcel pads offer a solution to pusher drag marks on barstock with a unique design that locks the pad onto the bar as it moves forward, but releases tension when the pusher is pulled back.
The master is a two piece design, while the insert pad assembly consists of pads held together by a retaining spring. A taper design locks the pads positively on the bar when feeding out and releases the pads on the return.
The insert pads are not tension adjustable, and must be replaced when worn. Pads are available in steel and bronze. Feed cams should be designed to provide an extra inch of feed to allow the pusher and pad to actuate properly.
Pads are available to feed round, hex, or square stock.
